Artwork: Round Two
The following is artwork done from July 2008 onward, primarily visionary art of my Gods, which I feel reflects a point of personal healing, feeling more comfortable with my place in the world and with the Divine.
What My Soul Looks Like
2008.
Photograph, photoshop (GIMP 2 freeware).
A "soul portrait", done to illustrate myself as a Light-Bringer.
Freyja, Vanadis
July, 2008; colored pencil, oil pastel.
The Goddess Freyja as I see Her, with flaming hair, wearing the Brisingamen, and wielding magickal fire, perhaps in combat.
Frey Sees Gerda
July 2008; colored pencil, crayon, oil pastel.
Portrait based on Frey sitting on Odin's high seat and seeing Gerda for the first time, raising Her arms so that Her light within lights up all the Worlds. The gold above and below is meant to represent Frey's watch; the colors emanating above and below are Gerda's power, and there is white light radiating from Her arms.
Frey, Golden One
July 2008; colored pencil, oil pastel, crayon, gold marker.
Frey in His green Godhi robe (with bells on!), blessing a wheat field with His golden life-giving energy, prior to His yearly harvest sacrifice.
